MoreRoses Amber Honey is produced by our bees in the fall. It is darker in colour due to its increased minerals, antioxidants and vitamins. Late in the year, bees harvest nectar primarily from goldenrod and aster. These nectars can contain more than twice the amount of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, giving the honey its colour as well as a stronger, more earthy flavour. Our Amber Honey is a wonderful addition to toast or drizzled on baked goods. It also works well on a cheese board paired with a soft, lighter cheese, such as brie, to accentuate the rich earthy flavour of the honey.
